Division On Addictions is an organization that helps vulnerable Arkansas residents who are addicted to drugs or alcohol locate proper treatment options. Alcoholism and drug addiction are terrible crises affecting all ages in our communities – from teenagers to senior citizens.
The Arkansas Black Mayors Association, in partnership with NCRS, submitted infrastructure projects to be funded. This includes a $95.9 million investment for 19 projects in Arkansas. USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Chief Terry Cosby announced on April 21, 2002at the Forrest City Civic Center. “These investments will help protect communities and their residents in Arkansas impacted by floods, natural disasters, and other watershed-scale resource concerns,” Cosby said.
In partnership with the Arkansas Department of Human Services and the Arkansas Division of Workforce Services, the Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission announces the 2022 Nonviolence Youth Summit Day of Hope, Healing, and Restoration. The event will take place on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, 10:30 AM-2:00PM, Dumas High School Gymnasium,709 Dan Gill Drive, Dumas, Arkansas 71639. The event is free and open to the public.

The Dumas City Council regular meeting is held every second Tuesday at 6:00 pm in the Dumas City Hall Council Room. The budget committee meets before the meeting at 5:30 pm. Both meetings are open to the public.
Speaking on behalf of the City of Dumas, I would like to commend our police, EMS, firefighters, Delta Memorial Hospital Staff, Arkansas State Police and all of the additional law enforcement and emergency response agencies that assisted during yesterday’s unfortunate incident.
